It started to piss me off somewhere after the middle and till the end it rly rly rlyyyyy pissed me off Curious how story ends? However, it was such a disapointment after reading and loving P. Novel set in Ireland centered around letters between main characters. Picturing Rosie so perfect and so stupid all the time is just provoking in everything she does. View all 4 comments. The book was kind of shallow and didn’t explain everything that happend too well, so I just couldn’t bring myself to read more than 7 chapters.

One question remains throughout the book, were they always meant to be more than friends and will they risk everything including their friendship on love? At least I got a Chinese zodiac decoration thing out of it. Two of her books have been adapted as films and she has created several TV series. The author wanted you to feel bad about the struggle Rosie went through and personally I just couldn’t.
Realistic and relatable characters are so unusual nowadays, that it was strangely refreshing to discover someone with whom you could shout alongside, not at.

Lets talk about Love,Rosie. I just couldn’t deal with the way the entire novel was written in an epistolary enr – in the form of letters, emails, instant messages, newspaper articles and so on. Exactly beacause whatever happens is explained this way, as a reader you only get glimpses of what really happened, since every character is extremely biased and whatev I read “PS I love you” a few months before this book and I hated it, so when my neighbour gave me “Where Rainbows End” i thought I’d give Ahern a second chance.

She keeps refusing to move forward and making all the wrong decisions for all the wrong reasons all the time entlish a way that is artificial just to keep the plot going. This section needs expansion. I really loved Rosie, the main character who gave up her future when accidentally pregnant as a teenager.
Tossed the book away, the minute i was like Meh! Unfortunately, that did not happen and I had to finally give up on it, realising that I’d much rather be spending my time on something I actually enjoy. They also often times talked to each other in chat rooms. Which is one of my main problems with the story.

It is the first time ever for me to love the movie but hate the book and I’m not sure how I feel about it. This book is interesting, funny and full of awkward moment! It feels like the author had a good plot that she started out with, then somewhere along the way she realised that she didn’t want it to be so short so she painfully dragged and stretched the story until it was at its breaking point, until it hit the desired page mark.

And personally I do not recommend reading it. I think Cecelia Ahern could have slashed the story in half to be honest. V polovici knihy som bola v koncoch. What’s with all the artificial lengthening and prolongation! This added a unique element to the book and was carried out subtly and skilfully, which clearly shows off the hard work and talent of the author.
