People will find this series to be very different from my Scandal series. Roderick’s anx is so totally freaked that he thinks his name is Robinson Crusoe, which he goes by The Epilogue I have to mention how much I love the Epilogue.
He considers taking Georgia with him, but then changes his mind, knowing that Georgia would never truly find happiness in the shell of an aristocrat.
This however wasn’t the worst, the thing that made me quit so early. He didn’t remember a thing. She did a great job in bringing the characters to life. She assumed that he wanted to a have her sleep with him for one night. He had talked to his brother and told him of his interest in her and finally worked up the nerve to send a note asking for permission to see her. Because I did, though, I felt Robinson Georgia is the straight-man in her relationship with Robinson. There are few lines with entertaining period and class appropriate dialogue that kept me interested for a while, but as the story progresses the plot disappears and the sex steps in.
An American King Arthur who became my knight, my husband, my all. It involved how the differences in class, country and culture can cause misunderstandings, bitterness, and anger. This is going to be a DNF review.
She also took me on a journey from the slums of Maarvelle to the high society of London and I enjoyed every minute of it! When he wakes up, he has no idea who he is.
The majority of the book was fleshed out perfectly, engaging readers in the lives and circumstances of the characters.
I became much less enamored with him, delillah, when he assumed the role of king of his relationship with Georgia and started making decisions for her and on her behalf. After all, what would a man of his obvious wealth want with a widow of her obvious lack of same except Full of Highs and Lows It was an innocuous meeting.
Georgia can tell Ah, the old amnesia trope.
It turned out that Robinson was the son of a duke. Who the hell named their daughter after a state?
